Celebration: A Festival of Flowers
The festival at Salisbury Cathedral is themed around the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and the Cathedral’s past and present, with a strong emphasis on the environment as well.
Centrepieces are a replica of the Queen’s Coronation Robe created with dyed grasses and gilded dried plant material, and the Royal Nursery re-imaged in pastel colours, using a mixture of dried and fresh flowers.
