Racing driver and television presenter Tiff Needell is set for a starring role at this year’s Wilton Classic & Supercar show as an ambassador for the two day event.
Tiff, who is back on TV screens this month in Fifth Gear, is set to host the daily parade interview sessions with drivers and owners and will be on hand to talk to visitors about a whole host of motoring-related topics.
“This is a great event in the motoring calendar and I’m thrilled to be involved this year,’’ said Tiff. “It’s a great excuse to spend two days surrounded by some amazing cars and bikes from rare old classics through to the very latest supercar technology.’’
He said the Wilton Classic & Supercar weekend with Castrol EDGE provides the perfect backdrop to admire the cars, chat to drivers and find out more about all aspects of motoring.
Lord Pembroke, who hosts the event at his home, Wilton House, in Wiltshire said he was delighted that Tiff had agreed to play a key role at this year’s event which showcases some of the country’s finest classic and supercars.
“Tiff is an ideal ambassador for the event and we are delighted he has agreed to be part of what is an amazing event for all motoring enthusiasts,’’ said Lord Pembroke.
“His knowledge and enthusiasm is infectious and we’re looking forward to working closely with Tiff to ensure that this year’s event is better than ever.’’
