The Wiltshire Wall of Remembrance, featuring thousands of commemorative crosses, is available for display in community venues across the county as part of its First World War centenary tour.
The Wall of Remembrance was created as part of a project for schools which took place across the county in 2014, with thousands of children making commemorative crosses to recognise the individuals from their own communities who gave their lives during the First World War.
The wall exhibition was launched at a commemorative event at Tidworth Cemetery on 30 July 2014 and will move around the county until November 2018, giving many people the opportunity to see it and pay their respects.
The wall is split into the north, south, east and west areas of the county. The north section, which features crosses from Chippenham, Malmesbury, Calne, Corsham and Royal Wootton Bassett, is currently on display in Chippenham Town Council until 12 February 2016. The display in Chippenham also includes crosses laid by the High Sheriff and Lord Lieutenant.
