Good news for The Friends of Arundells – their fight to save the former home of Sir Edward Heath in Salisbury has been won. It will now be staying open to the public after the trustees were refused permission to sell it by the Charity Commission.
The house contains memorabilia from the former Prime Minister including sailing, art and music.
