Filming in Salisbury, March 2022
The BBC filmed in Salisbury Cathedral Close during spring 2022 for a new adaptation by Steven Knight and Tom Hardy of Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations.
It will be a six-part BBC One drama, with Olivia Coleman starring as Miss Havisham. It’s a coming-of-age story about an orphan named Pip (Fionn Whitehead).
The series will be aired on 26 March, 2023 and will also be available on iPlayer.
