Thousands turned out to watch the event, both young and old. Music was provided by Salisbury Rock Choir, Jamie Eldridge, Steph Murray and The Deloreans and a spectacular firework display lit up the Market Square, starting the festive season off with a bang.
Keith Chegwin had the honour of turning on the Christmas lights in Salisbury this year.
